X Gym looked to venture into corporate memberships to offer their services to employees, but needed something to grab the employee’s attention. They called on us to develop a flyer for them to distribute.
The target was the employee here, not the corporation. But we needed to show the corporation that they get credit for offering it to their employees. A space was left in the design for communication of what the partnership was that the corporation was giving to their employees, and for their identity.
The rest of the design revolved around communicating to the average Joe that with only 21 minutes twice a week he will feel better and look better. While there are many benefits, we need to focus on the core. What problem do they solve for the average person? The answer is a lack of time and not feeling or looking as good as they’d like. So, for such a low time commitment, they receive even better results, and will feel amazing for doing it.
X Gym wanted before and after pictures as well as testimonials incorporated in. We used the space, size contrast, and other visual cues to help organize the many bits of information and visuals into a consumable piece. While the curve adds a certain organic dynamism that also mimics the circular curve of their logo, and the shape of the back lit in the photo. Visually, we tried to communicate as much as possible and grab attention without even having to read all the text. The most critical elements come through with a glance.
